The Army National Guard has a valuable new enlistment option called Active First.
When you join the Army National Guard under Active First, you begin your service with a period of Active Duty — aka, full-time military service. That not only means full-time Soldier's pay, but a bonus of up $60,000, depending on your length of commitment.
You'll train in one or more of 50 exciting careers that prepare you for lucrative civilian positions. You'll travel across the U.S. or overseas. You'll have life-changing experiences and adventures. You'll become more confident than you ever thought possible.
When your Active Duty commitment is over, you'll return to standard part-time Guard service with your local unit. At that point, you'll be free to pursue a college education with the Guard's extensive education benefits.
How it Works:
Step 1:
You join the Guard and enter the Guard's
Recruit Sustainment Program, where you pre-train for
Basic Training while receiving pay for drill weekends.
Step 2:
You enter the Army for either 30, 36 or 48
months. Once your Army processing is complete, you will receive a cash bonus
and become eligible for up to $65,000 in Army education bonuses.
Step 3:
Upon completion of Army service, you can
choose to either transition into the Guard or re-enlist in the Army. If you
choose the Guard, you will receive an additional cash bonus.
Excitement. Adventure. Career
training. $60,000. Any questions?
